By purchasing this product, you have acquired a rugged, reliable device of state-of-
the-art design.
Its design satisfies European and national requirements regarding electroma-
gnetic compatibility. Conformity has been proved; the appropriate declarations
are kept at the manufacturer's.
To make sure this state is maintained and to ensure safe operation, it is essential that
you - the user - adhere to these operating instructions!
Usage for the intended purpose
The clock radio AV-316 has been designed as an alarm clock with two alarm times
and sleep timer. You can use the clock radio AV-316 to receive radio frequencies of
the bands AM (522-1620 kHz) and FM (87.5-108MHz).
This product may only be connected to a socket outlet of the public electricity supp-
ly network (230V/50Hz (10/16A) alternating voltage).
It may only be used in dry, closed areas, i.e. not outdoors. The device must be kept
away from moisture.
Any use deviating from that described above results in product damage; it
moreover involves danger, e.g. short-circuits, fire, electric shocks etc. The ent-
ire product must not be changed or modified!
