a) Cleaning

The outside of the device should be cleaned with a soft dry or slightly damp cloth only.
Never use aggressive cleaning agents or chemical solutions as these may damage the surface of the
housing.

b) Fuse replacing

If it becomes necessary to replace a fuse, make sure that only fuses of the prescribed type and nominal
current are used (see "Technical Data").
It is improper to fix fuses or bridge the fuse holder.
• Pull the mains plug out of the outlet socket and separate the non-heating appliance plug from the de-
vice's mains input and output jack (if they are connected).
• Use a suitable screwdriver to open the fuse holder. Unscrew the fuse holder by turning it counter-clock-
wise. Remove the fuse holder with the fuse.
• Remove the faulty fuse and replace it with a fuse of the specified type.
• Carefully push the fuse holder with the new fuse back into its holder in the fuse unit.
• The fuse holder must be screwed clockwise again.
• Only then may you reconnect the device to the mains and place it back into operation.

13. Handling

• Never remove the mains plug from the socket by pulling on the cable. Always unplug from the mains
socket by means of the gripping area provided for this purpose.
• Always disconnect the power plug from the mains socket, when the device is not in use.
• For safety reasons always unplug the mains plug from the socket during a thunderstorm.
• Never apply filter foils, masks, or other materials on the light output. This can cause heat damages or fire
risk.
• The device can heat up during operation. Do not touch the housing when in operation. Allow the light
effect device to cool down after operation before you touch or clean the housing.
• Do not cover the device in any way so that sufficient ventilation is ensured. In addition, the air circulation
must not be obstructed by objects such as magazines, tablecloths, curtains or similar items. When the
device is in operation, keep a free space of at least 0.5 m around the device.
