• Never look directly into the light source when the device is in operation. The bright flashing
lights could temporarily impair your eyesight. Moreover, under certain circumstances, they
may trigger epileptic seizures in vulnerable persons. This applies in particular to epileptics.
• Never touch the mains plug with wet or damp hands. There is risk of a life-threatening electric
shock!
• If the mains cable is damaged, do not touch it. First, switch off the appropriate mains socket
(e.g. via the respective RCD and the circuit breaker) and then carefully pull the mains plug from
the mains socket. Never use the product if the mains cable is damaged.
• When installing or setting up the product, make sure that the mains cable is not pinched or
damaged by sharp edges.
• This product is not a toy; it is not suitable for children. Children are not aware of the potential
dangers involved when using electrical devices.
• Never place vessels or containers containing liquids, such as glasses, buckets, vases or
plants, on the device or in its direct vicinity. Liquids may seep into the casing and thus impair
the electrical safety of the device. Furthermore, there is a significant risk of fire or of a lethal
electric shock! If this is the case, cut the power to the appropriate mains socket (e.g. switch
off the RCD and the circuit breaker) and then remove the mains plug from the mains socket. Do
not use the product after that and take it to a specialist workshop.
• Do not expose the device to high temperatures, dripping or sprayed water, strong vibrations or
heavy mechanical stress.
• Do not place open flames, such as burning candles, on or near the device.
• If you have doubts about how the product should be operated, or about safety or the connec-
tion of the product, consult an expert.
• Do not operate the device when it is unattended.
• Use the device only in temperate climate regions and not in tropical ones.
• Do not leave packaging materials unattended. It may become a dangerous plaything for chil-
dren.
• In commercial institutions the accident prevention regulations of the Employer's Liability Insur-
ance Association for Electrical Systems and Operating Facilities must be observed.
