5.2 Switch on and off
Procedure for activating the device:
Connect the machine to the power supply.
To switch on the tool, hold it in both hands.
First press the starting lockout 1. Then press and
hold down the switch 2. Release the starting lockout 1.
To switch off, release the switch 2.
5.3 Use of the various grinding discs
The BS 180 can be used with diamond, carbide or paper grinding
discs. The maximum speed of the disc is 8500 r.p.m. Depending
on the usage and the subfloor, the speed can be reduced with
the speed control (accessory).
The following table contains the information to choose the
right disc for your need, It is meant as guiding principle for the
different applications.
Screeds and levelling compounds
Removing light dirt and flooring residues
like paint, mortar, felt or foam
Removing Epoxy-coatings
Removing the loose sintered material
on new anhydrite- and magnesia screed
Rough grinding and abrading
Grinding extremely hard smoothing compounds
and industrial floors, as well as epoxy coatings
