3. First installation

Once the receiver is physically connected and switched on for the first time, you need to go through the
setup procedure to get your cable TV and Radio channels.
1. Switch on your TV.
2. If your TV set does not switch automatically on receiver mode, select the appropriate A/V channel
(HDMI, SCART, ...).
3. Insert your Smartcard into the Smartcard reader of the
receiver:
• Pull the flap to access the reader slot.
• The chip must be facing downwards.
4. The first installation screen should appear.

3.1 Language Settings

5. Select your preferred language using the up
key on the remote control and press OK

3.2 Cable Signal Check

6. The receiver searches for the cable signal.
Please wait until the receiver successfully detects it.
7. If the detection fails, ensure that the antenna cable is
connected correctly.
Press OK
If the receiver still cannot find the cable signal, please contact
your customer support hotline.
