7. Elimination des déchets
Mise au rebut d'équipements électriques et électroniques
Afin de respecter l'environnement et de recycler au maximum les objets usagés, il est demandé
à l'utilisateur de rapporter les appareils à mettre au rebut aux points de collecte et de recyclage
appropriés.
Le logo représentant une poubelle à roulettes barrée d'une croix signifie que ce produit doit être
apporté à un point de collecte et de recyclage des produits électroniques pour que ses matières
premières soient recyclées au mieux.
Mise au rebut de piles/accumulateurs usagés
L'utilisateur est dans l'obligation légale de rendre les piles et accumulateurs usagés. La mise au
rebut de piles usagées dans les ordures ménagères est interdite ! Les piles/accumulateurs
contenant des substances dangereuses sont marqués par la poubelle barrée. Le symbole indique que
la mise au rebut du produit est interdite par l'intermédiaire des ordures ménagères. Les symboles
chimiques pour les substances dangereuses respectives sont Cd = Cadmium, Hg = Mercure, Pb
= Plomb.
Vous pouvez rendre les piles/accumulateurs usagés gratuitement à tout point de collecte de votre
collectivité, nos magasins ou tout point de vente de piles/accumulateurs.
Vous respecterez ainsi vos obligations civiles et contribuerez à la protection de l'environnement !

6. Maintenance and cleaning

Check the technical safety of the product regularly, e.g. damage to the housing (or the external adapter which
you use).
When it can be assumed that safe operation is no longer possible, the product must be put out of service and
precautions taken to ensure that it is not used unintentionally. Switch off the keyboard, disconnect it from any
external power unit, and disconnect the external power adapter from the mains voltage. Remove any possibly
inserted batteries.
It must be assumed that safe operation is no longer possible if
– the device shows signs of visible damage
– the device no longer operates and
– has been stored for long periods under unfavourable conditions or
– has been subjected to considerable stress in transit.
The safety instructions below must be noted before the keyboard is cleaned:
– Before cleaning, servicing or repair works, the device must be disconnected from all sources of voltage.
Switch off the keyboard and disconnect the external power unit.
– Remove any possibly inserted batteries/accumulators.
– None of the components inside the product are to be maintained by the user.
– Live components may be exposed if the covering is opened or components are removed.
– Capacitors in the device may still be charged, even if the device has been disconnected from all voltage
sources.
– Only qualified experts, who are familiar with the hazards involved and with the relevant regulations, can carry
out repairing.
Dust in the opening of the keys can be removed with the aid of a clean, soft brush or a vacuum cleaner.
The use of a dry, lint-free cloth is sufficient to clean the outside of the product. For more resistant dirt, you can
moisten the cloth slightly with lukewarm water.
Do not use any cleaning agents as these may discolour the plastic material. The lettering
may also become damaged.
Before connecting the keyboard again (or insert batteries/connect it with an external power
unit), wait until the device is completely dry!
