■ Immediately remove any leaking batteries from the batte-
ry compartment. Clean the contacts before you insert new
batteries.
■ The batteries may not be charged or reactivated with other
means and they may not be disassembled, thrown in a fi re,
submerged in a liquid or short-circuited.

Handling the device properly

■ Check the device for damages prior to each use. If the de-
vice or the adapters exhibit visible damages, the device
may not be used.
■ Never attempt to repair an electrical device yourself, rather
contact customer service centre or locate a qualifi ed work-
shop to guarantee your own safety.
■ Only use the device if the adapter has been correctly
mounted!
■ Only use the adapters from the manufacturer. Only use the
adapters with this device.
■ Do not allow the device to fall and do not subject it to strong
percussions.
■ Never submerge the device in water or other liquids.
■ Do not use any corrosive or abrasive cleaning agents to clean
the device. They could damage the surface. Clean the adap-
ters with warm water and, when needed, wipe the device off
with a clean damp cloth. Then dry it all off.
■ Keep the device and the accessories away from sources
of heat.
■ Do not subject the device to extreme temperatures, severe
temperature fl uctuations, direct sunlight or moisture.
■ Store the device and accessories in a dry place out of the
reach of children and animals.
