Intended Use

This device is intended to be used for interdental cleaning. The
device is not suitable for use on any other body
•
An individual cleaning attachment must not be used by
several people at the same time.
•
The device is designed for personal use only and is not intended
for commercial applications.
•
The device should only be used as described in these instruc-
tions. Any other use is deemed to be improper.
•
The following are excluded from the warranty: all defects caused
by improper handling, damage or unauthorised attempts at
repair. This also applies to normal wear and tear.

Danger of Injury
■
Danger of Suffocation! Keep children and animals away from
the packaging material and the cleaning attachments.
■
This device should not be used by people (including children)
with impaired sensory or mental faculties or who do not have
adequate experience and/or knowledge of such devices, unless
they are supervised by a person responsible for their safety, or
have received instructions from such a person on how to use
the device.
■
Children must be supervised to ensure that they do not play
with the device.
■
Cleaning with the device may lead to bleeding of the gums. This
should stop during regular use of the device. If this is not the
case you should stop using the device and consult a dentist.
■
Do not use the device if it is damaged. Before each use, check
whether the device and the attachments are in good condition.
If there is any damage or wear this could lead to injury.
■
The cleaning attachment should not be inserted with force into
the spaces between the teeth.
■
If the application is unpleasant or painful you should stop
immediately.
■
In order to avoid accidents, the movable cleaning attachment
should be kept away from the hair, clothing etc.

Do not use the device if highly fl ammable gases are present in
the air.
The Proper Handling of Batteries
■
Batteries can be deadly if swallowed. Keep batteries and the
device out of the reach of children and animals. If a battery is
swallowed, seek medical assistance immediately.
■
Before inserting the battery, check whether the contacts in the
battery compartment and on the battery are clean, and clean
them if necessary.
■
Use only the battery type specifi ed in the technical data (see
the "Technical Data" chapter).
■
When replacing batteries, ensure the correct polarity (+ / –).
■
Remove the battery from the battery compartment if it is dead
or if you will not be using the device for a prolonged period. This
will prevent any damage that might occur if a battery leaks.
■
If the battery has leaked, do not allow your skin, eyes and
mucous membranes to come into contact with the battery acid.
If you touch battery acid, rinse the affected area with abundant
fresh water immediately and contact a doctor as soon as
possible.
■
Remove a dead battery from the battery compartment immedi-
ately. Clean the contacts before a new battery is inserted.
■
The battery must not be charged or reactivated in any way,
it must not be disassembled, thrown into a fi re, immersed in
part.

Never try to repair an electrical device yourself; to ensure your
own safety, you should contact customer service or a specialist
dealer.

The attachments which are supplied should only be used with
this device.
■
Protect the device from heat, naked fl ame, direct sunlight, ex-
treme temperatures, temperature fl uctuations, persistent mois-
ture, wet conditions and impact.

Do not immerse the device in water or other liquids.
