2) Setting the end limits in the default setting with SELVE
setting switch for SELVE-Electronic-Radio-motors.
All setting and operating procedures can be carried out using
the five-wired drive cable.
N.B. There is a special five-wired setting cable for SELVE-
Electronic-Radio-motor.
2.1) Connection
Connect the connecting cable to the setting cable according
to the colour coding.
N.B.
G For safety reasons, connect the mains plug so,
that the LED

If the diode does not light up, turn the plug.
Safety instructions:
The blue wire is live as long as the diode is not lit!
2.2) Identification of setting switch

Move to the lower end position
using the UP/DOWN button.
Activate button E for at least
3 seconds – the lower end limit
has now been set.
Move to the upper end position
using the UP/DOWN button.
For SEL-R/SEM-R, stop
approx. 5 cm before the end.
Activate button E for at least
3 seconds – the upper end limit
has now been set.
When the drive has been set, a running test should be carried
out. If the roller shutter stops at the end limits set, the drive has
been properly set. The SEC-R/SEL-R drive must switch off
when moving downwards as soon as it meets with an obstacle.
If problems still arise, proceed as follows:
please activate button E twice for 3 seconds and once for
6 seconds (time this properly). Then follow 2.3.
3) Learning in an initial transmitter

Press the UP and DOWN buttons of any
transmitter simultaneously. The transmitter will be
temporarily learnt in.
As long as you have not permanently saved any transmitter,
you can cancel the temporary allocation by disconnecting the
drive from the power supply.
PROG.

Now press the PROG button briefly in order to
permanently accept the allocation.
The transmitter has now been permanently programmed in
and will still be saved if the power supply is interrupted.
The SELVE-Electronic-Radio-motor is now in normal opera-
ting mode.
N.B.
A transmitter can only be learnt in permanently if the end limits
have been learnt in using the setting switch or by radio.
N.B.
Ensure that you do not learn in several SELVE-Electronic-
Radio-motors in an existing system at once, because then
all SELVE-Electronic-Radio-motor will be controlled by a
single transmission channel. If this is the case, proceed as
described in 4.
