6) Adjusting the end limit using the setting cable for
SELVE-Electronic-Radio-motors
Connect the SELVE setting cable according to the colour
coding.
Safety instructions:
Please follow the instructions under 2.1 "Connecting the
SELVE setting cable".
Put the SELVE-Electronic-Radio-motor in setting
mode by pressing the E button for 6 seconds.

It remains in setting mode until the lower and upper end limits
have been programmed.
The end limits are reset as described in 2.3.
If the SELVE-Electronic-Radio-motor is already in setting
mode and the setting button is pressed for 6 seconds inste-
ad of 3 seconds, an end position will still be saved.
7) Restoring the SELVE electronic radio drive to the
SELVE default setting (as delivered by SELVE)
The SELVE default setting means that no end limits and
transmitters have been learnt in.
N.B.
Ensure that you do not revert several SELVE-Electronic-
Radio-motors in an existing system to the default setting
simultaneously.
Only disconnect the SELVE-Electronic-Radio-motor that is to
be reverted.
In order to be able to revert the SELVE-Electronic-Radio-
motor to the default setting, you must first have learnt in a
transmitter permanently.
In order to revert the SELVE-Electronic-Radio-motor to the
default setting, proceed as follows:
N.B.
Ensure that when a permanently installed switch is
connected, it is not in the UP or DOWN position.

When the PROG button of a transmitter that has
been learnt in is pressed for 9 seconds, the SELVE-
Electronic-Radio-motor reverts to the default
setting. This must be carried out within 4 minutes
of the power supply being disconnected.
General conformity declaration:
The company Selve hereby declares that the drives SE-R,
SEC-R, SEL-R and SEM-R are in conformity with the basic
requirements and other relevant provisions of Directive
1999/5/EC.
Warranty
The warranty period of SELVE GmbH & Co. KG for new equip-
ment installed in accordance with the assembly instructions
is 24 months from the date of purchase. It ends no later than
30 months after the date of manufacture. The warranty covers
all construction, material and fabrication faults.
Faults and defects resulting from:
- faulty assembly or faulty installation,
- failure to observe the assembly and operating instructions,
- improper operation and use,
- external effects such as bumps, blows or weather,
- repair and modifications by unauthorised agencies,
- use of unsuitable accessories
are not covered by the warranty.
SELVE shall remedy product defects arising within the war-
ranty period free of charge. This shall be carried out by repair
or replacement of the equipment. When equipment is repla-
ced, the original warranty period is not extended. SELVE will
not assume any installation and removal costs.
