PROGRAMMING
Programming of the various functions is done using the LCD display on board the control unit and setting the desired values in the
programming menus described below.
1 - Press the <PG> button, the display switches to the first 'PAR' parameter menu.
2 - Use the <+> or <-> button to select the menu you wish to select.
3 - Press the <PG> button, the display shows the first function available in the menu.
4 - Use the <+> or <-> button to select the function you wish to change.
5 - Press the <PG> button, the display shows the currently set value for the selected function.
6 - Use the <+> or <-> button to select the value you wish to assign to the function.
7 - Press the <PG> button, the display shows the 'PRG' signal indicating successful programming.
Simultaneous pressing of <+> and <-> within a function menu allows you to return to the upper menu without making changes.
Keep pressing the <+> button or the <-> button to accelerate the increase/decrease of values.
After a wait of 30s the control unit exits programming mode and switches off the display.
The tables below describe the individual functions available in the control unit.
MENU
Set the passage timeout value. After the set time has elapsed, the magnet is de-energised, inhibiting
passage.
Tout
The minimum value is 1 second, the maximum value 25, the default value is 6 seconds.
Set the turnstile type.
120 dg is to be used with 3-arm turnstiles.
MEC
90 dg is to be used with 4-arm turnstiles.
Select the type of turnstile used.
Sets the operating logic of the traffic light associated with the A/B outputs.
RED: Traffic lights are always Red, when one direction is enabled its traffic light switches to Green.
LIGH
GRN: Traffic lights are always Green, when a direction is enabled the opposite traffic light switches to Red.
The default value is RED
Sets turnstile operation in the event of a power failure (see section 'setting operation in the event of a
POFF
power failure').
It sets the number of inputs stored by the control unit, i.e. if 'mode A' or 'mode B' is activated several
times before the end of a single turnstile rotation (or the expiry of the TOUT time) the control unit keeps
in memory the queue of inputs received (up to the number set) and allows the corresponding subse-
QvEv
quent passages.
With the parameter set to 001(default), the control unit allows only one passage at a time, i.e. any further
activations of the inputs occurring before the end of the turnstile rotation (or the expiry of the TOUT time
CrdRd) will be ignored.
Displays the number of complete cycles. The first press of the <PG> button displays the first 4 digits, the second press the last 4. Ex. <PG> 0012 >>>
<PG> 3456: 123,456 cycles made.
Sets the number of cycles after which the control unit activates the maintenance alerts (see paragraph 'Periodic Maintenance').
The value is expressed in hundreds of cycles performed.
RESET of the central unit. ATTENTION: Resets the control unit to default values.
Pressing the <PG> button for the first time causes the RES message to flash, a further press of the <PG> button resets the control unit.
View the bed angle from the encoder.
