The low speed needle is used to adjust engine response. Set the needle flush (factory setting) with the carburetor body. To test your setting, let the engine idle for 30 seconds, then
accelerate to 3/4 throttle. If there is a lot of white smoke and the car accelerates slowly, the mixture is too rich. If the car accelerates quickly and sputters, the mixture is too lean. Turn
the needle in 1/8 turn increments to adjust. Do not turn past 2 turns from flush. We recommend you do not touch the low speed needle.

Si la voiture accélère rapidement puis tousse, le mélange est trop pauvre. Tournez le pointeau par incréments de 1/8e de tour pour faire la mise au point. Ne tournez pas plus de 2
tours après l'affleurement. Nous vous conseillons de ne pas toucher au pointeau de bas régime.
