DVD Playback

CAUTION
►
Only insert undamaged DVD/CD/VCD discs. Do not insert any other
objects in the open tray. This may damage the unit.
NOTE
►
DVDs and DVD players are equipped with a regional code. Only
insert DVDs with a regional code correspondent to the unit (see
rear of the unit). DVDs with deviating regional code cannot be
played on the unit.
‹ Press (1) on the unit or POWER on the remote control to turn
the unit on. The display (4) shows ON. The unit is in the previously
selected mode.
‹ Turn your TV set on.
Press SOURCE (unit button (6), remote control button (23)) to ac-
‹
cess DVD playback mode. The display shows LOAD and NO DISC.
‹ Press unit button (3) or remote control button
open the DVD tray.
Insert a DVD with the label up.
‹
‹ Close the tray again (press (3) or (19) again).
DVD playback starts automatically.
‹ Press (8) and ENTER (7) on the remote control to select from
the DVD menu.
■
Press PLAY/PAUSE (16) to pause DVD playback, press again to
continue.
■
Press  STOP (15) to stop playback, press
start DVD playback again.
■
Press SEARCH (25) to directly skip to a DVD chapter.
■
Press OSD (2) to display title/chapter information. Repeatedly press
to show the different display options.
■
Press MENU/PBC (3) to access the DVD menu.
■
Press SUBTITLE (21) to access and set subtitles. Repeatedly press to
show the different display options.
■
Press AUDIO (20) to select the audio language. Repeatedly press to
show the different language options.
NOTE
►
You can only select different audio or subtitle languages if the
DVD offers them.
