Convert Songs to MP3 Format

Use this function to convert (rip) songs from Audio CD to MP3 format
and save to connected USB device:
Press (1) on the unit or POWER on the remote control to turn

the unit on. The display (4) shows ON. The unit is in the previously
selected mode.
‹ Turn your TV set on.
‹ Press SOURCE (unit button (6), remote control button (23)) to ac-
cess DVD playback mode. The display shows LOAD and NO DISC.
‹ Press unit button (3) or remote control button
open the DVD tray.
Insert Audio CD with the label up.
‹
Close the tray (press (3) or (19) again).
‹
‹ Connect the USB device to the unit (Overview of the Components
(11)).
Press COPY (22) on the remote control.

NOTE
►
You can only access COPY function in DVD mode with inserted
Audio CD.
The "CD-rIP" menu is displayed.
■
Use the navigation buttons (8) to navigate the menu.
■
Press ENTER (7) to change the setting of the selected option.
■
To exit the menu press COPY (22) again or select "EXIT" and press
ENTER (7).
‹ Select the desired "SPEED" (Normal/Fast).
‹ In field "Bit rate" select the quality (96/112/128/192/256/320kbps).
In field "Create ID3" select to generate ID3 tags during ripping (Yes/
‹
No).
‹ In field "Device" select the storage device for MP3 files.
‹ Select songs to be converted on the right side of the menu. Select
songs to be converted with ENTER.
‹ Navigate to "Start" and press ENTER to start ripping the songs to
MP3 format.
