Preference Setup

‹ Press SETUP (6) on the remote control.
The main menu is displayed and General Setup is highlighted.
Repeatedly press (8) until the menu item Preference is

‹ Press (8) to highlight a menu item.
Press (8) to access the respective submenu.

Press (8) and ENTER (7) to select the desired setting.

In menu item TV Type you adjust the color system of your TV Set: PAL,
NTSC or Auto.
In menu item Audio you set the DVD audio language. This
language must be available on the DVD. When changing the DVD
audio language during playback this does not influence the setting
under this menu item.
In menu item Subtitle you set the DVD subtitle language. This language
must be available on the DVD. When changing the DVD subtitle
language during playback this does not influence the setting under this
menu item.
In menu item Disc menu you set the DVD menu language. This lan-
guage must be available on the DVD. When changing the DVD menu
language during playback this does not influence the setting under
this menu item.
In menu item Parental you activate the parental lock for DVD playback.
You can enter the parental lock for different age groups. With activated
parental lock the valid password must be entered before DVD playback;
the password must be set in Password Mode. The DVD must contain age
information for this function to be available.
In menu item Password you set or change your password. You have to
enter the current password in order to set a new password. The master
password is "136900".
NOTE

In case you forget your password use the master password to
deactivate the parental lock.
In menu item Default you reset the unit to the factory settings. All
personalized settings are deleted.
