● Ensure food is as dry as possible before placing it in the basket. Do not add water, ice
or wet food as it may cause hot oil splatter.
● Clear off any ice particles and thaw frozen food thoroughly before frying.
● Do not overfill the basket.
● Lower basket of food into hot oil, then cover the fryer with a lid.
WARNING: DO NOT TOUCH THE CONTROL KNOB DURING THE FRYING PROCESS
AS HOT STEAM MAY BE RELEASED AND COULD CAUSE INJURY.
● When food has finished drying, remove the lid and slowly lift the basket out of the hot
oil. Place the basket on the drain support.
● After the excess oil has drained, place the food on a paper towel-lined baking sheet to
drain any remaining oil.
● If frying multiple loads, ensure the oil reheats to the required temperature between
batches.
The frying times in this chart are a guide. Adjust them based on the quantity of food being
fried.

* Frying fries for a 2nd time makes them lighter and crispier.
AFTER THE FOOD IS FRIED:
1. Ensure you turn the temperature control knob to the 'OFF' position and unplug the
deep fryer.
2. Once the food is done cooking, remove the lid and hang the basket on the hook. Let
excessive oil drip into the oil pot.
Warning: Removing the lid releases hot steam. Handle with extreme care. Keep
face and bare skin away from the steam.
3. Take out the basket and place the food on paper towels to absorb excess oil. Do not
touch the basket while it is still hot. Always use the handle.
4. After the excess oil has drained, place the food on a paper towel-lined baking sheet to
allow any remaining oil to drain away.
5. Place the basket into the deep fryer.
6. Do not move the deep fryer until it is cooled entirely.
7. Unplug the power cord and store it away.
