6 Upgrading

Follow the steps described as below to proceed registration and
update:
1. Go to http://www.icarsoft.com or http://www.icarsoft.us and
download the iCarsoft updating tool to the computer.
2. Uncompress the downloaded updating tool, and follow
the on-screen instructions to install it on your comptuer
(compatible with Windows XP and Windows 7 operating
system).
3. After installation, please connect the scanner to the USB
port of the computer via the included USB cable.
Note: Please make sure your internet is well connected
during the updating period.
4. Launch the updating tool, a screen similar to Figure 5-1 will
pop out:
