Loosen thebattery s afetyscrew andopen thebattery c ompartment onthe
underside ofthescale. Remove theplastic isolator t abfromthebattery
compartment (if present) priorto use. C heck thatthebattery is inserted f ollowing
thecorrect p olarity. Select kg.storlbsweight m ode using theswitchontheinside
ofthebattery compartment. Close thebattery compartment andtighten the
battery compartment screw. Position t hescale onafirmflat surface.

STEP 1 :Tap thecentreoftheplatform to switchonthescale. The vibration
activates thescale. Then r emove any weight from thescale. [0.00/ZERO]
bedisplayed.
STEP 2 : Step ontotheplatform andstandstill.
STEP 3 : After2-3 seconds theweight r eading willbedisplayed.
STEP 4 : Step offtheplatform; theweight r eading w illbedisplayed f orseveral
seconds before the scale turns off.
