paint container and hold down the
handle of the gun to ensure that the
paint flows out of the feed hose.
• Use a suitable solvent or cleaning
agent (usually water or white spirit)
and clean the feed hose, the inside of
the lid, the paint container, the seal
(6), the spray cap (5), the securing
ring and the spray nozzle. Carefully
clean the air inlet, but do not insert
objects into this opening. Then
remove all paint residue from the gun.
• Put a small amount of solvent or
water into the paint container. A small
amount will suffice. Put the spray gun
back together again and spray until
the paint container is clean.
Caution: The compressor, cable
and hose may not be spray
cleaned using solvent or water.
Note: If the solvent cannot be
sprayed properly, check to see
whether the air outlet is clean. If this
is blocked with paint, only air will
come out when you press the handle.
The air inlet can be accessed by
removing the spray cap and the
securing ring.
• The needle (7) must always be clean.
This applies to both the spray cap and
the securing ring. We recommend
treating the tip of the needle with a
drop of sewing machine oil before
storing the spray gun.
NOTE: Paint that has dried in the
spray gun will prevent it from
functioning properly. If you do not
observe this, the guarantee will be
voided.
CAUTION! After each use, carry
out the following tasks:
