3. Basic Settings:
First, you must set your power tariff and the price
of one individual
kilowatt hour (kWh). You can find
this information in your last electricity bill or you can
ask your electricity company to supply you with the
current price.
a) First, plug the Basic (without a consumer such
as the TV) into a standard CEE 7/4 electrical
(230V/50 Hz). After approx. 2 seconds, the device
automatically switches to the display mode "COST"
with the display of the total power consumption.
b)Tariff mode: Pressthe SETbutton once; the display
now shows "TARIFF" at the top. Usingthe >< button,
you can select the place that you wish to change
and using the + button, you can choose the desired
value by switching the values 0-9 incrementally. If
you would like to change the value back to a lower
number, keep pressing the button. Once the display
reaches 9, it starts back at 0. The last value is
automatically saved.
Displays the current power

max. 3,980 W
reactive power up to

Displaysthe current voltage
in volts.
Displaysthe current current
level up to max. 16 A.
Displays the current mains

c) kWh mode: Usingthe
place that you wish to change and using the + button,
you can choose the desired value by switching the
values 0-9 incrementally. If you would like to change
the value back to a lower number, keep pressing the
button. Once the display reaches 9, it starts back
at 0. The last value is automatically saved.
4. Measuring:
Press the MENU button to return to the main menu.
Now connect the plug of the electrical device (e.g. TV)
to the Basic. The consumption measurements begin
automatically. Youcan switch between the different
displays by pressing the MENU button. Once you have
carried out the desired measurements,
