Operation

Due to the features of the tool, like the quick adjustment, the ovality compensation and the tiltable blade, an easy adjusting and ins-
tallation of the tool on various pipe dimensions as well as an even chip removal on pipes with ovalities or conical ends can be easily
performed.
5.1

Pipe Preparation

Step
1 Cleaning the pipe
Clean pipe with Tangit PE cleaner and lint-free, colorless and clean cloth.
Remove mud, sand and dirt from the surface you want to peel.
This avoids damage of the peeling blade and extends its lifetime expectancy
2 Mark required peeling length
Measure area which must be peeled on the still packed fitting with a yardstick and then mark on the pipe with an addition
of approx. 1 cm.
