Notices for use
Danger!
Using the Irish coffee set must take place under direct supervision only.
Caution!
The burner for the tea light or the fuel paste must be properly inserted into the warmer. The Irish coffee
glass must be properly placed on the warmer. Use the SPRING Irish coffee glasses only. These are
fireproof and specially designed for use on this warmer.
Risk of burns or injury!
Very high temperatures are generated during use. Handle the glass by the stem only. Never leave
children unattended in close proximity to the hot set.
- If you operate the warmer with fuel paste, also observe the associated safety instructions.
- If you operate the warmer with a tea light, observe the instructions below:
- Do not leave burning candles unattended!
- Keep burning candles out of reach of children and pets!
- Do not let candles burn on or near easy flammable objects!
- Avoid draughts!
- Place the warmer on a stable, flat and heat-resistant surface.
- Light the tea light or fuel paste using a long match or a stick lighter only.
- Extinguish the flame by placing the lid.
Cleaning
Allow the set to cool down. For easier cleaning all parts can be cleaned in the dishwasher. However, we
recommend a cleaning by hand with warm water and a mild detergent. Make sure that all parts are completely
dry before using the set again or storing it.
Recipe for 1 glass of Irish Coffee
150 ml strong coffee, 30-40 ml whisky, 1 sugar cube, 50 ml cream, whipped half stiff
Pour the whisky into the glass along with the sugar cube and place the glass on the warmer. Turn the glass by
the foot on the warmer until the whisky is hot and the sugar is melted. Remove the glass from the warmer.
Tip: Now you can also flambé the whisky.
Pour in the strong, hot coffee to about 1 cm below the rim of the glass. Let the semi-stiffly whipped cream run
into the glass over a teaspoon so that cream and coffee do not mix.
