The base of the drainage pit must have a slope of between 1 and 2 % in the direction of flow. The walls of
the drainage put must be vertical. A layer of compacted round-grain gravel (max. grain size 8/16 mm,
thickness 100 – 150 mm) must be applied as a foundation.

A geotextile is placed above the layer of gravel.
