Function of the Unit

In the following section, each point in the figure above is discussed.
Grease trap (Optional): Kitchen waste water is fed into a grease trap which removes grease and
oil from the waste water. Important: toilet waste water must not be fed through the grease trap.
Septic tank: The waste water is fed into a septic tank which is where the organic dirt in the waste
water is bio-degraded and the remaining solids which could not be broken down are removed via
the integrated filter.
Batch feeding tank: The prefiltered waste water from the septic tank is regulated using a batch
feeding tank (50 L or 100 L) and promulgated in pulse movements.
Distribution shaft H:450: Here, the waste water is distributed through a distribution shaft.
BIOMATIC module: The prefiltered waste water is distributed to the separate Biomatic modules
and filtered through a pipeline which is opened up by drilling on the undersurface. The remaining
suspended matter is filtered from the waste water via the sand filter, positioned underneath. In a
drainage layer underneath, the treated waste water is collected in a drainage pipe.
Inspection shaft H:450: Terminal shaft used for inspection.
Distribution shaft H1100: Distribution shaft in which the treated waste water is collected and for-
warded.
