• Put down the hood.
• Press key (at setting hood OFF) => measuring cycle starts.
• The unbalance values remain on unbalance position displays after finishing the measuring cycle
• Press key may check the real unbalance value under threshold

Static mode

In contrast to dynamic mode, where weights are applied to both the inside and outside plane of
the rim, static balancing of a wheel requires only a single weight to be applied to one position on
the rim.
Static balancing is suitable for wheels with a small width, since the unbalance increases as the
width of the wheel increases.
Perform a measuring cycle in dynamic mode

• As soon as the measured values are displayed, press key
Add a counterweight on outside rim shoulder in 12 o'clock position

Rim distance:
Move gauge head (1) to touch the rim edge

• Read off the rim distance on scale (2)

Rim width:
• Move caliper (1) to touch the rim edge
• Read off the rim width on scale (2)

Move the wheel slowly anticlockwise till all indicators of

outside unbalance position display lights up
Clip on the counterweight on the outside 12 o'clock position

Move the wheel slowly anticlockwise till all indicators of inside
•
unbalance position display lights up
Clip on the counterweight on the inside 12 o'clock position
•
Check the result:
Put down the hood. Press key
•
measuring cycle starts.
• If 0 0 is displayed, the result is OK
If the result is not satisfactory, repeat the balancing process
