DANGER – RISK OF ELECTRIC SHOCK!
► Never open the device housing. There are no
user-serviceable elements inside. When the
housing is open, there is a risk of receiving
a potentially fatal electrical shock.
Never immerse the appliance components
in water or other liquids! There is a risk of
a potentially fatal electric shock if residual
moisture comes into contact with live com-
ponents when you reuse the appliance.
WARNING – RISK OF INJURY!
► Disconnect the plug from the mains power
socket and allow the appliance to cool down
before cleaning it. Risk of injury!
■ After use, first clean the baking surfaces with a
dry paper towel to remove fat residues.
■ Then, clean all surfaces and the power cable
with a lightly moistened cloth. Thoroughly dry
the appliance before using it again.
ATTENTION! PROPERTY DAMAGE!
► Do not use detergents or solvents. These can
not only damage the appliance but also
leave residues in the next waffles.
► Never use any hard items to clean the appli-
ance. These can damage the surfaces of the
baking trays.
For greasy residue:
■ apply a mild detergent to a dampened cloth.
Use it to wipe off the fatty residues.
■ If these still do not come off, use a soft wash-
ing-up brush.
■ Wipe off any detergent residues using a cloth
moistened with clean water.

■ Thoroughly remove all residual detergent from
the cloth and repeat the cleaning process as
often as required until all residue has been re-
moved from the baking surfaces. Otherwise, the
residue could spoil the next batch of waffles!
If there are baked-on residues:
ATTENTION! PROPERTY DAMAGE!
► Never use hard items to clean the appliance.
These can damage the non-stick surfaces of
the baking surfaces.
■ Place a wet cloth on baked-on residues to soften
them. Afterwards, you can remove the softened
residues with the wet cloth.

Storage

Allow the appliance cool down completely before
putting it into storage.
Wind the mains cable around the cable retainer
on the bottom of the appliance and fix it with the
cable clip.
Store the appliance in a dry place.
