SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
When using an electrical appliance, you should always take basic
safety measures. Always keep the following in mind:

• Do not use an extension cord with this appliance.

representative or another authorised person to avoid danger.
• This product is equipped with an grounded plug. Connect only
to a grounded wall socket.
• Avoid touching hot surfaces. Use knobs and controls instead.
• To protect against fire, electric shock and personal injury, do not
immerse the plug or cord in water or other liquids.
• Remove the plug from the wall socket before cleaning and
when not using the coffee maker. Allow the appliance to cool
completely before removing or attaching parts, or cleaning it.
• Additional accessories that are not recommended by the manu
facturer may result in fire, electric shock and/or personal injury.
• The coffee pot is intended for use with this appliance only.
It must not be used on a hob.
• Do not let the cord hang over the edge of a table or counter,
or come into contact with hot surfaces.
• Do not place the coffee maker on a hot surface or near naked
flames to avoid damage.
• Always switch off the appliance first before pulling the plug out
of the wall socket. Always pull the plug; never the cord!
• Do not use the appliance for anything other than its intended use.
Keep dry.
• Extra caution is necessary if using the appliance near children.
