Installation and connection

5.1

Installation

For dimensions, see Fig. 4-1 on page 7.
CAUTION
Red light / infrared light
If you look into the beam emitted by the transmitter,
temporary blinding and irritation of the eyes is possible.
The use of operating elements or the implementation of
settings or processes which are not described in this
user's guide may cause dangerous radiation exposure.
► Locate transmitter units so that it is not possible to
look into the beam even during operation.
► Take specifications in this user's guide into
consideration.
No other protective measures are required for
operation (Exempt Group per IEC 62471:2006).
The sensor can be fastened with two M3 screws.

plug connector, or cable connection with plug connector.
