Commissioning
Risk of injury!
Loose tubes may hit objects around them. Tubes must be connected first to the unit.
Only press the foot switch after all tubes have been connected.
Installation
⇒ Choose a stable and non-slip surface to stand the unit on.
Foot switch connection
⇒ Insert the end of the tube marked with an „A" (20) as far as it will go into the tube connection point also
marked with an „A" (14) on the blasting unit.
⇒ Insert the end of the tube marked with an „B" (20) as far as it will go into the tube connection point also
marked with an „B" (15) on the blasting unit.
When inserting the tubes you will notice a slight resistance which must be overcome.
Compressed air connection
⇒ Push the compressed air tube (21) onto the tube connection point (11) as far as it will go. In doing so
there will be a slight resistance to overcome.
⇒ To connect to the compressed air system, select the relevant tube coupling from the supplied set and
attach this to the other end of the tube.
⇒ Connect to the compressed air network.
Electrical connection
Please note the instructions in the chapter "Risk of electric shock and fire"!
⇒ Plug the mains cable (22) into the socket (3).
⇒ Plug in the mains cable.
Connection to suction device
⇒ Plug the suction tube from the extraction unit to the suction pipe (18).
► For suction devices with automatic activation:
⇒ Connect the mains plug from the sandblasting unit into the user socket on the suction device.
Adjusting the Operating Pressure
⇒ Activate the foot switch.
⇒ Set the sandblasting pressure (1 - 6 bar /14.5 - 87 psi) at the pressure regulator (2).
♦ The amount of pressure will be shown on the pressure gauge (6).
Filling the Sandblasting Tanks
Do not press the foot switch while filling is in progress!
Regardless of the pressure display, the sandblasting tanks are only pressurized when the foot
switch is pressed.
⇒ Use only clean, dry abrasive of the appropriate grain size (refer to the accessories).
⇒ Only fill with abrasives up to the max. fill height (thickening of the tank cover underneath the thread).
⇒ Clean the thread on the sandblasting tank and tank lid as well as the seal.
⇒ Screw the tank lid closed firmly by hand.
Warning: Do not tilt the tank lid when screwing it on.
Check that the tank lid is seated securely prior to use.
Tank lids that are not closed securely can suddenly blow off.
There is a risk of injury as a result of flying parts and sudden emission of abrasive sand.
