RAID mode configuration
Please read instructions before configuring.
It is recommended that you use new hard drives of equal capacity.
Ensure any important data is backed up prior to switching into a RAID mode.
When switching into a RAID mode, the system will format the drive, erasing all existing data.
The factory default setting of the device is JBOD(SINGLE) mode.
Configurations

Select the RAID mode you prefer based on the "RAID Modes & DIP Switch" table, then switch
"1" and "2" to the corresponding positions for the selected mode.

RAID 0
Recogizes twice the capacity of the smaller hard drive in two hard drives.
Setting: Both switches are toggled to digit
Example: 1000 GB + 120 GB = 240 GB
RAID 1
Identified as one minimum capacity hard drive, backed up to another drive at the same time.
Setting: Switch 1 to digit, switch 2 to "ON"
Example: 1000 GB + 120 GB = 120 GB
SINGLE
Identified as two separate hard drives, independent from each other.
Setting: Both switches are toggled to the "ON" position
Example: 1000 GB + 120 GB = 1000 GB + 120 GB
LARGE
Identified as one hard drive, the size is the sum of the two hard drives.
Setting: Switch 1 to "ON", switch 2 to digit
Example: 1000 GB + 120 GB = 1120 GB
