Changing the remote enquiry PIN

The PIN is a password and is used to prevent
strangers from accessing your answering ma-
chine using the remote enquiry function. When
you activate remote enquiry, you will be re-
quired to enter the PIN and will have the oppor-
tunity to change it.
PLEASE NOTE!
This PIN not the same as the system PIN
(see "System PIN" on page 86).
 Select PIN CHANGE and confirm with
MENU.
 Confirm the OLD PIN? query with MENU.
Enter the old pin (factory default: 0000) and
confirm with MENU.
 Confirm the NEW PIN? query with MENU.
Enter the new PIN and confirm with MENU.
 The OK? query appears. Confirm by pressing
MENU and then use the number keys to en-
ter a new four-digit PIN.
