Handling the rechargeable
batteries safely
You will need to use the supplied NiMH re-
chargeable battery for the handset.
WARNING
Batteries may contain combustible
materials. If not handled correctly,
batteries can leak, become very hot,
ignite or even explode, which could
damage your device and/or your
health.
Please observe the following instruc-
tions:
• Keep children away from batteries.
• Do not throw rechargeable batteries into a
fire, do not short-circuit them and do not
dismantle them.
• Please pay attention to the polarity (+/–)
when inserting the batteries.
• Remove the batteries if the device is not
going to be used for long periods.
