Risk of fire and explosion
Paint and solvents can be highly inflammable.
•
Only use in a well-ventilated paint spraying
-
booth.
Avoid ignition sources, including lighted
-
cigarettes, naked flames, electrical sparks,
etc.
Do not use solvents that contain halogenated
hydrocarbons (1, 1, 1-trichloroethane, ethylene
chloride, etc.) that can react chemically with
elements of aluminium or zinc and cause an
explosion.
Use fluids and solvents that are compatible with
aluminium and zinc.
Paint spraying equipment and the objects to be
•
spray-painted must always be earthed, to reduce
the risk of sparking due to static electricity.
Risks if the equipment is used incorrectly
Never point a spray gun towards yourself, other
•
people or animals.
Never exceed the maximum permitted working
•
pressure for the equipment.
Always depressurise the paint and air before
•
cleaning, dismantling and/or service. We
recommend that you install a shutoff valve on the
compressed air line, close to the spray gun.
