Malfunctions and defects may occur during operation. The following table shows the possible causes and the appropriate solu-
tion to these. In the case of malfunctions/defects that are not listed or that are unclear, contact GEMÜ.

Install valve in a suitable position
Select smaller nominal size
Adapt the valve and flange to each other
or replace
Align flow direction arrow with flow direc-
tion
Increase pressure and/or flow rate
Use different valve material
Use the appropriate valve for the piping
Change the installation position from ver-
tical to horizontal
Use a weaker closing spring
Replace O-ring
Replace valve
Rework sealing surface, replace housing
