Assembly of the plug-in head
Insert the plug-in head shell at the end of the
tone arm. Turn the head shell locking screw in
the direction of arrow 2 and tighten it firmly
(see Fig. 6) •
Counterweight
Attach the counterweight to the tonearm
shown in Fig. 7. Precise adjustment
follows.
Adjustment of the pick-up pressure
a) Confirm that the plastic cover has been
removed from the cartridge, then release the
armrest lock.
b) Keep the armlift lever in DOWN
position.
c) Balance the tonearm by rotating the arm
weight until the arm is laterally balanced.
(See Fig. 80).
d) With the tonearm laterally balanced, align
the "O" on the scale ring with
marked at the rear of the arm.

Turn only the scale ring, taking care not to
change the position of the weight.
e) Finally, turn the weight and scale ring
together in the direction of the arrow
to align the scale ring (2,5 p) with the line
