FAZ 3000-TF should not be greater than 25 mm, to ensure perfect functioning
(Figure 1).
· The magnets and FAZ 3000-TF can be attached with the enclosed double-sided
adhesive tape. For sabotage-free installation both components can be fixed with
appropriate screws.

3.2 Installation of the FAZ 3000-TF

· The housing is then opened: Using your fin-
gernail, a ballpoint pen or a suitable screw-
driver carefully push in the securing lugs un-
til the half shells can be separated.
· Before the FAZ 3000-TF is installed in the
planned location, the external sensor cables
(magnet or glass breakage) should be inserted.
On the back of the sensor there is a cable chan-
nel, through which the cable can be fed from
right or left in the device (Figure 2). The cables
enter the device to the left or right of the securing hole
and are then led below the battery holder for the LR44 -
button cells upwards in the direction of the screw termi-
nal strips (Figure 3).
· The FAZ 3000-TF is secured with the help of the
enclosed double-sided adhesive tape or a screw
passed through the fixing hole.
· The cables of the external sensors should be short-
ened (as short as possible) and connected:
· KL 1, left: Glass breakage transmitter (left: +, right: -)
· KL 2, right: Magnetic sensors, remove jumper be-
forehand!
· The batteries are not inserted a this point, the hous-
ing remains open.
· The magnet is attached with the double-sided adhe-
sive tape provided, having regard to the notes regard-
ing spacing. Alternatively fixing with two screws is pos-
sible: Remove the housing cover and tighten the
screws. Then close the cover.

4. Registering with the base station

4.1 General information

All components must be registered with the base station. For the door/window trans-
mitter the following information must be entered:
· Name was assigned at the planning phase (Section 4, FAZ 3000-Z base station)
and should be in the planning sketch, e.g. "liv. room F1" (living room, window 1)
· Assignment of internal sensor Y/N (yes/no), also in the planning sketch (internal
sensor N = external).
