7.1
Refueling the ride-on mower
NOTICE
■ The ride-on mower can be damaged if it is not
fueled with the correct fuel.
► Pay attention to the User Manual for the
motor.
► Place the ride-on mower on a level surface.
► Shut off the engine,
► Engage the parking brake,
► Remove the ignition key and store it securely.
► Use a damp cloth to clean the area around the
fuel tank cap.
► Turn the fuel tank cap counterclockwise until it
can be removed.
The air pressure between the tank and the
surroundings evens out.
► Remove the fuel tank cap.
► Use a suitable filling aid to refill the tank to
ensure that the fuel does not go beyond the
lower edge of the filling level.
► Place the fuel tank cap on the tank.
► Turn the tank cap clockwise and tighten it
down firmly by hand.
The fuel tank is now closed.
► Wipe dry any spilled fuel and allow it to evapo‐
rate.

8.1
Adjusting the driver's seat
The driver's seat can be set to 7 click-in posi‐
tions.
► Place the ride-on mower on a level surface.
► Shut off the engine,
► Sit on the driver's seat.
► Place your right hand on the steering wheel.
► Lift the driver's seat adjustment lever (1) with
your left hand and hold it there.

► Adjust the driver's seat (2) to the desired posi‐
tion.
► Release the driver's seat adjustment lever (1).
The driver's seat engages in place.

Starting and Stopping the
Engine
9.1
Starting the engine
NOTICE
To prevent damage to the ride-on mower:
► If the engine does not start: Wait for a short
while between attempts to start the engine.
► Do not turn the ignition key for more than
10 seconds in the "Engine start" position.
► Place the ride-on mower on a level surface.
► Open the fuel cock (1).
► Sit on the driver's seat.
► Insert the ignition key in the ignition switch.
► Turn the ignition key to the "Ignition on" posi‐
tion.
► Press the brake pedal all the way down and
hold it there or engage the parking brake.
► If the engine is cold: Set the throttle lever to
the "MAX" position and pull out the choke but‐
ton completely.
► If the engine is warm: Set the throttle lever to
the "MAX" position.
► Turn the ignition key to the "Engine start" posi‐
tion and hold it.
The engine starts.
► Release the ignition key.
The ignition key resets to the "Ignition on"
position.
► If you have started the engine with the choke:
Press the choke button all the way back in.

Shutting off the engine
► Brake the ride-on mower until it comes to a
complete standstill.
► Place the ride-on mower on a level surface.
► Disengage the blades,
After 5 seconds, the blades come to a stand‐
still.
