Special safety instructions for the perman-
ently built-in lithium polymer battery:
Lithium-polymer batteries (hereinafter referred to as
'battery') are powerful energy storage devices. They
require careful handling in order to minimize risks such
as fires, explosions or chemical burns avoid.
Storage:
Store the device with the installed battery in a
-
cool, dry place. Please also note above the section
'Operating and storage conditions'.
Avoid exposure to direct sunlight, high temperatures
-
or moisture on the device and battery.
Keep the device with the battery out of the reach of
-
children
Handling:
Only charge the battery with compatible power
-
supply units (see note D).
Always store and charge the battery or the device in
-
which the battery is integrated in a fireproof container
which, in the event of the battery igniting the battery
can never lead to the spread of fire.
Avoid mechanical impacts such as bump, pressure
-
or piercing of the battery.
Never store fully charged batteries.
-
Charging and discharging:
Only charge the battery under supervision. The
-
device must not be charged unsupervised (see note C).
Avoid overcharging and deep discharging.
Only use the recommended power supply units (see
-
note D).
Observe the voltage and capacity specifications of
-
the integrated battery.
Avoid short circuits, as these can damage the
-
battery.
Disposal:
Lithium polymer batteries must not be disposed of in
-
normal household waste.
Dispose of the device containing the battery in
-
accordance with local regulations or return it to a
collection point, the point of sale or NOCH GmbH & Co.
KG.
Emergency measures
In case of electrolyte leakage:
Avoid contact with skin and eyes. If contact occurs,
-
rinse the affected area or eyes immediately with plenty
of water and seek medical attention immediately.
In case of fire:
Use extinguishing agents such as CO2, foam or dry
-
extinguishing agent. Do not use a water jet.
Evacuate the area and alert the fire brigade.

If it is safe to do so, move the device outside.

Transport of the device with integrated battery:
The shipment of Li-Ion batteries is subject to dange-
rous goods legislation. (UN 3480 and UN 3481). Check
the currently applicable regulations, when shipping the
device with integrated Li-ion battery. Inform yourself
with your transport company if necessary. Only ship the
device with integrated battery if it is undamaged. Set
the I/0 switch (8) on the cover of the handle to the '0'
position and secure it against accidental
switching on (e.g. with the enclosed initial fuse,
which should be secured with adhesive tape).
Replacing defective batteries:
If the battery in the device is defective, please contact
your seller or NOCH GmbH & Co.KG. The battery can
be replaced by specialised personnel. The device must
be returned for this purpose. Never make any changes
to the device or battery yourself! or battery yourself!

Exclusion of liability:
The manufacturer accepts no liability for damage cau-
sed by improper handling, storage or use of the lithium
polymer battery.
