Installation

CAUTION
Never, under any circumstances, shorten or lengthen the aerial!
To install the device, proceed as follows:
• When choosing the installation location, refer to the Installation Instructions.
• Connect HF Receiver 6866 AG in accordance with Fig. 1, Pos. 1 and 2 and Fig.
2 or Fig. 3.
• Install the aerial in the aerial brackets provided in order to ensure operational
safety and shock protection. (see Fig. 1, Pos. 6). If installing the device within
normal arm's reach, if necessary, protect the aerial brackets against abrasion/
damage by means of a supplementary cable clamp.
• Install the aerial brackets only at the location provided, i.e., the cable-entry cut-
out (see Fig. 1, Pos. 6).
