Dismantling the GES R2 floor socket
Danger to life from electrical current!
Contact with electrical current can lead to an electric shock.

Electrical work may only be carried by specialist personnel with electrical
training!
When dismantling the GES R2 floor socket, the lid must first be
removed. Then, the entire installation socket can be removed from
the base opening. Further dismantling takes place outside the
base opening.
12.1
Required tools

Battery-operated screwdriver or

12.2
Dismantling the lid
1. For metallic lids: Cut the sealing compound.
2. Using a suitable tool, unlock the three locking hooks (e.g. flat
screwdriver, see Fig.
3. Using a suitable tool, secure the locking hooks against relo-
cking.
4. Remove the lid.

Dismantling cover plates
1. Using a suitable tool, lever off the two locking hooks (e.g. flat
screwdriver, 7 mm) and release the cover plate (see Fig.
).
2. Remove the cover plates by bending a connected plug.

Dismantling the installation socket
1. Turn out the three screws until the universal fastenings fall off
of the screws (see Fig.
2. Pull the installation socket out of the floor opening.
