11.Roger Beep
Shortly press the menu key twice, and prompt Beep prompt. Press the UP or
DOWN key to turn on / off the Roger beep function. The Roger beep is
defaulted off.
12.Busy Channel Lockout
After setting the busy channel lockout, press the PTT key to forbid
transmission after receiving the signal. The radio sends a beep sound until
releases the PTT key.
13.VOX
VOX lets you not press the PTT key and transmit through the speak voice. Stop
transmitting while stopping speaking. Long press the front DOWN key to
achieve VOX ON or VOX OFF.
a.Speak towards the microphone to transmit and send voice when enabling
the VOX function.
b.When using the headset with a mic, the VOX gain must adjust. Set the VOX
gain to help the radio identify the voice. The surrounding noise will cause the
radio to transmit if the microphone is too sensitive. The radio can't collect your
speaking voice if the microphone is not enough sensitive. To make
communication smooth, adjust the VOX gain level.
Note: When turning on VOX and setting VOX gain to a higher and more
sensitive level, if connecting the speaker or microphone to the radio, the
received signal amplified by the speaker or microphone may make the radio
transmit.
14.Manual VOX Level Adjustment
Shortly press the menu key once to prompt VOX. VOX level is a total of 8,
1-2-3-4-5-6-7-OFF. OFF refers to the VOX OFF. 1-7 refers to the VOX level.
Shortly press the PTT key to finish the level setting and exit.
15.Emergency Alarm
Long press the side key for 2s to turn on the emergency alarm function. Press
the PTT key to cancel.
16.CTCSS/DCS Codes
The radio supports a total of 260 CTCSS/DCS codes. Set 50 CTCSS and 105*2
(N and I）DCS codes through the CPS.
