TRIPLE CONNECTOR TC-IOOO
Used with the Minolta 7000/Minolta MAXXUM, the Triple Connector TC•IOOO
enables simultaneous firing of up to three 2800AF flash units. The camera is connected
to this triple connector by means of a Cable OC; each flash is linked to the triple
connector by means of a Cable EX and Off-Camera Shoe.
Connecting
I. Connect Cable OC's plug to terminal marked "OC/CD"

by turning collar clockwise.
2. Connect Cable EX(s) to one or more of the remaining terminals, using same proce-
dure as described above.
@ : Off-camera shoe (for connecting Cable EX to flash)
( • ) : Two or more Cable EX'S can be linked together for greater flash separation.
NOTE
Incorrect operation may result if more than six Cable EX and Cable OC cords are
used with this triple connector at the same time.
Checking connections
I. Turn all flash units on and check to see that their flash-ready signals light.
2. Release the camera's shutter to test flash firing.

Flash operation
In general,operation is the sameas when usingflash on camera.Referto the notes
below and the owner's manual of the flash unit for instructions.
NOTE
The 2800AF flash unit's AF illuminator
off-camera.
Flash-readysignal in viewfinder comeson only after all flashesconnectedarefully
charged.
When using more than one flash unit. flash range can be computed asfollows:
Minimum flash distance: normal value x number
Maximum flash distance: normal value x 1.4 (for 2 units) or 1.7 (for 3 units)
(assuming power setting and flash-subject distances are the same, and no flash
coverage adapters are used)
CAUTION
Triple Connector TC•IOOO is for use only with Minolta 7000/MinoIta
cameras and Minolta's 2800AF flash units.
