Inserting and formatting
the memory card
A memory card of speed class
10 or higher is recommended
for normal use .
1 . Open the battery cover and
press the memory card in
until you hear the „click"
sound .
2 . To remove the memory card, open the cover and press the
memory card in, the card will come out automatically .
Note: Insert the card with the marked corner in the direction
shown .
Formatting the memory card
When using this digital camera for the first time, it is important to
format the memory card as all data, including protected files, will
be deleted . Make sure to save important files to your computer
before formatting .
1 . Switch on the camera and open the settings menu
2 . Select the "Format" option in the settings menu and confirm the
selection with the OK button .
3 . Select "Confirm" and press the OK button .
