Removing / inserting the battery
1. 1.To remove the battery from the appliance, press the release button (15) on the
battery and pull out the battery.

2. To insert the battery, place it on the guide track and push it back into the
appliance. It will audibly snap in.
OPERATION
ATTENTION
The device and packaging materials are not toys! Children must not be allowed to play
with plastic bags, film and small parts
Wear appropriate clothing and safety gloves when working with this tool. Wear eye and
hearing protection. Before each use, ensure that the unit is working properly.
The on/off switch and the safety switch must not be locked. When the switch is released,
the motor must turn off. If a switch is damaged, the tool must not be used. Personal
Protective Equipment and a properly functioning device will lower the risk of injuries and
accidents.
Comply with noise protection and local stipulations.
ATTENTION ! Do not use the grass trimmer with a faulty or heavily worn cutting
unit.
During the cutting process, be careful not to touch any objects such as wire fences or
plant supports. This can cause damage to the safety cutter bar.
-If the blade is jammed by a fixed object, immediately turn off the tool and remove the
battery. Then remove the object.
Switching the grass trimmer on/off
Insert the charged battery in the grass trimmer until the interlock latches. The
rechargeable battery can only.
Attention: When inserting the battery do not actuate the switch-on inhibit (2) and the
on/off switch (1).
• Adopt a safe stance. Hold the grass trimmer in both hands.
Do not set the cutting device down on the ground. Press the switch-on inhibit (2) to
right and actuate the switch (1). After switching on, the switch-on inhibit (2) must no
longer be held.
• In order to switch off, release the switch (1)
Attention : On/off switch can only be activated after the switch-on inhibit (2) is pressed
