Exsys EX-60232 Anleitung

HARDWARE INSTALLATION
Please note the following installation instructions. As there are major differences between PCs, we
can only provide you with general instructions for installing the EX-60232. If in doubt, please consult
the manual for your computer system.
1. Switch off your computer and all connected peripheral devices and unplug all devices from the
mains.
2. Loosen the housing screws on the back of your computer and carefully pull off the housing.
3. Now locate a free PCI Express slot (x8 or larger) and carefully insert the card into the selected
PCI Express slot. Make sure that the card is seated correctly and that there is no short circuit.
4. Then secure the card to the housing with a screw.
5. Now close the computer housing with the previously removed screws.
DRIVER INSTALLATION
Windows / Linux / Unix
Once the hardware installation is complete, the operating system will automatically detect and
install the card. If the drivers are not installed automatically, they can be downloaded from the
EXSYS website (www.exsys.de / www.exsys.ch). Enter the article number in the search field
and select the appropriate article. Under 'Downloads' you will find the current driver as a ZIP
file. Once you have extracted the driver folder to your computer, run 'Autorun.exe'. Follow the
installation instructions to complete the installation.
Important! Reboot your PC/Server after installation.
CHECK INSTALLED DRIVER
Open the >Device manager<. Now you should see at „Network adapters" the following new
entries:
If you see these or a similar informations the device is installed correctly.

Der EX-60232 ist ein 10 Gigabit Netzwerk Controller mit zwei SFP+ Steckplätzen für den PCIe
Bus. Er ermöglicht einen schnellen und zuverlässigen 10 Gbps Netzwerkzugang über größere
Entfernungen als kupferbasierte Netzwerke. Mit dem SFP+ Transceiver Ihrer Wahl können Sie
Ihren PCI Express basierten Server oder Ihre Workstation direkt an Ihr 10G-Glasfasernetzwerk
anschließen. Der verwendete Intel Ethernet-Controller garantiert höchste Qualität und
