Selecting the sanding paper
NOTE!
Appropriate sanding paper has to be used
for different materials and activities.

WARNING!
Disconnect the sander from the mains
before carrying out any maintenance or
adjustments!
NOTE!
Never use the sander without a sanding
sheet or another consumable fitted.
The sanding plate is equipped with Velcro
system. This makes it quick and easy to fit new
sanding paper without clamping. Only sanding
tool with self-adhesive Velcro may be used.
• Remove debris and contaminants from the
Velcro on the sanding plate 10 before
attaching the new sanding paper D .
• Attach the sanding paper to the Velcro of
the sanding plate. The sanding paper has to
uniformly protrude out of the sanding plate.
The holes in the sanding plate have to line up
with the holes in the sanding paper for dust
extraction to function properly.
• To remove the sandpaper, pull it out of the
sanding plate.

Mounting the dust extractor
(Fig. E)
The sander provides the option of external
extraction (dust extraction unit).
For the most effective removal of dust from the
sanding surface, connect the sander directly to
a dust extraction unit or a vacuum cleaner.

• Loosen the cap nut of the extraction nozzle

• Insert the adapter of the extraction hose C
into the extraction nozzle.
• Tighten the cap nut of the extraction nozzle.
• Connect an external extraction (not included
in the supply) to the extraction hose holder.
The intensity of extraction can be controlled
using the dust extraction adjustment ring 8 .
