Attention! When the saw is in operation, the cutting chain is lengthened by heating.
Check and adjust the tension frequently as a loose chain can easily fall off the rail or wear
quickly and damage the guide.
If the chain has been tensioned during operation, it must be loosened after the chain has
been tightened.

CHAIN LUBRICATION

Attention! The saw is supplied without chain oil. Fill the reservoir with chain
lubrication oil before starting work.
To lubricate the chain:
Fill the tank with chain oil before use, without exceeding the maximum volume mark. The oil
tank should also be checked after every 30 minutes of use and refilled if necessary.
 Position the chainsaw on any surface with the oil filler plug 1 (Fig. 8) facing upwards.
 Clean the area around the oil filler cap with a cloth and remove the oil filler cap.
 Do not remove the filter element during filling.
 Carefully pour the chain oil into the tank until it is filled, checking the oil level on the
dipstick 2 (Fig. 8).
 Wipe off excess oil.
 Install the oil filler cap.
Chain life and cutting performance depend on optimum lubrication. Therefore, the chain is
automatically lubricated with oil during operation through the oil outlet.
ATTENTION! To allow the oil reservoir to be bled, there are small vent passages between the
oil filler cap and the filter. To avoid oil leakage, make sure that the appliance remains
horizontal (filler cap in the highest position) when the appliance is not in use.
It is important to use only the recommended oil to avoid damage to the chainsaw. Never
use old/recycled oil as this will void your warranty.
FIT THE BATTERY
A charged battery can be mounted to the appliance after it has cooled down. Keep in mind
that the battery reaches its full capacity after several cycles of charging and discharging.
Slide the battery into the battery slot of the saw as shown in Fig. 9 until you hear a click.
Press the battery release button 18 (Fig. 1) to remove the battery from the implement.
CHECK THE BATTERY CHARGE STATUS
The battery charge status is indicated by LEDs 2 (Fig. 10) on the control panel. To check the
charge status of the battery, press button 1 (Fig. 10).
