 The clamping systems of the work tool must correspond to the dimensions of the power
tool. Work tools with incorrect dimensions must not be adequately shielded or
controlled.
 Wear personal protective equipment. Depending on the type of work, you should wear a
protective mask covering the entire face, eye protection, e.g. protective glasses. Protect
your eyes from airborne foreign objects that are created during work. The dust mask
and respiratory protective mask must filter the dust generated during operation.
Prolonged exposure to noise can lead to hearing loss.
 Keep bystanders at a safe distance from the power tool's coverage area. Anyone who is
in the vicinity of a working power tool must use personal protective equipment.
Splinters of the workpiece or broken work tools can also cause injury outside the
immediate range zone.
 Do not move a power tool while it is in motion. Accidental contact of the garment with
the working tool may cut the garment and come into contact with the operator's body.
 Clean the ventilation slots of the equipment regularly. The motor blower draws dust into
the housing and a large accumulation of metal dust can cause an electrical hazard.
 Do not use the power tool near flammable materials. Sparks can ignite them.
 You can only use the saw in good condition, perform the necessary operations, or
contact your service personnel if necessary. We recommend that you use the services of
an authorized MURRAY service.
 Before each start-up, check that:
 the device is assembled according to the instructions;
 the cutting tool is in good condition; check the chain fastening, damage and wear
regularly;
 safety devices (e.g. cutter guard, housing, handle, engine switch) are in good working
order.
 Before adjusting, cleaning, maintenance, shut off the engine.
 Do not use the appliance when other people, especially children or pets, are nearby.
 Do not operate a damaged saw.
 Do not move the appliance with the engine running.
 Turn off the saw when:
 leave the equipment unattended,
 before adjustment,
 before checking, cleaning or repairing the appliance,
 after being hit by a foreign object,
 in case of abnormal vibrations.
 Keep a safe, stable position when working.
