2.3. Adjusting of the headrest to the child's size
In order to adjust the height of the head rest to your child's size push
the seat down on the vehicles seat to keep it there. With the other
hand de-block the head rest de-block lever (Z) on the back of the
head rest by pulling it backwards at the same time. Keep the lever
de-blocked and pull the head rest simultaneously up or down, accor-
ding to the child's size. Release the lever. The head rest needs to be
fixed in one of the guide wholes with an audible sound. Please check
by pulling on the head rest, if it does not move anymore without
pulling the lever. The middle of the head rest needs to be exactly at
the height of the middle of the child's head to have the highest side
protection effect.
The distance between head rest and shoulder of the child should be
2 fingers. The headrest is adjustable in 14 different positions.

3. Installing the capsula® MT5 i-Fix into
your car
Check the vehicle list of your vehicle manufacturer to
see which vehicle seats are equipped with ISOFIX.
Check the ISOFIX guides regularly and clean away
any dirt, dust or food particles as they may effect the
safety of the system.
Before placing the capsula® MT5 i-Fix on the car seat,
fasten if necessary in your vehicle the two supplied
mounting aids (IH) to the ISOFIX anchors (IA). The
ISOFIX mounting points are located between the seat
and the backrest of the car seat.
Check the safety indicators (IT). These must both be
RED. If the safety indicators (red) are not visible, press the green release tabs until you hear
an audible << CLICK >>.
The ISOFIX mounting points are located between the seat and the backrest of the car

Now put the two ISOFIX terminals (IK) on to the ISOFIX anchors (IA) in the car and CLICK
them into place until you hear a << CLICK >>.
Please check the markings on BOTH PAGES, whether the seat is correctly connected to
the two ISOFIX anchors (IA) of the car.
