Library
To save scanned text to the Library, save the text upon exit
of the Reader function, or select 'create new file' when in the
Library and scan the text. The scanned text is then saved in a
text file in Reader 3's internal memory.
The text file can be accessed in the Library and stored files
can be uploaded to a computer if Reader 3 is connected via
USB. It is possible to open a text file and have the content read
aloud — like in Reader function. You can scan new text into
the existing file, rename the file and delete words or entire
sentences.
Practice
Use the Practice application to track areas of language
learning in need of review or improvement. Practice includes
word exercises, pronunciation practice, word explanations,
translation practice and much more.
USB connectivity
When Reader 3 is connected to a computer you get a couple
of additional functions. Select one out of three options:
•
USB-Disk
In this mode Reader 3 becomes a portable disk. You
can access or download text files saved in the Library or
use Reader 3 as a portable drive. Statistics can also be
imported digitally.
